Genesis Prize Foundation Awards $1 Million to Pro-Israel NGOs

n a recent announcement, the Genesis Prize Foundation revealed its plan to award 26 grants to a variety of non-profit organizations around the world that promote pro-Israel causes. These grants, which total $1 million, were made possible by American philanthropist Robert Kraft and Concert-Together for Israel Ltd., a funding platform aimed at supporting non-profit organizations dedicated to promoting a positive perception of Israel.

One of the recipients of these generous grants is United with Israel (UWI). UWI is the world’s largest pro-Israel grassroots community, with millions of followers in over 170 countries across the globe. They focus on combatting anti-Semitism, countering efforts to delegitimize the Jewish State, and spreading the truth about Israel. When applying for their grant, UWI focused on “Israel’s Global Fight Against Covid -19″.

This is not the first time that Robert Kraft has donated his time and money to support the people of Israel. In 2016 he was awarded an honorary doctorate from Tel Aviv University for his philanthropic efforts throughout the years, and in 2018 he donated $20 million to Tel Aviv University as part of his initiative – Kraft Family Israel Football League – to help promote education through sports. As if this weren’t enough, in 2020 he announced his commitment to donate $100 million towards fighting antisemitism around the world.

The grants from Genesis Prize are truly transformational for these grassroots organizations who are working hard every day to promote a positive perception of Israel globally and combat antisemitism everywhere it exists. This latest donation is another example of how Robert Kraft continues to show his unwavering commitment towards supporting this mission, and will surely help further these organizations in their efforts against hate and discrimination worldwide.
