Azealia Banks to Perform in Tel Aviv During October 7 Memorial Week
The American rapper will headline a solidarity concert and meet IDF soldiers during her commemorative visit to Israel.

American rapper Azealia Banks has announced that she will perform in Tel Aviv on October 9, marking her return to Israel during the two-year anniversary of the October 7 Hamas attacks. The concert at Amphi Tel Aviv will be a central event in her solidarity tour, which began this weekend.
The show is being promoted by Almog Sarid, the Israeli producer behind Noa Kirel’s high-profile Hayarkon Park concerts, and is expected to draw fans from across the country. Banks emphasized that her visit is not just a performance but a journey of remembrance and connection.
In her announcement, Banks described October 7 as a day of “deep remembrance – honoring every life taken, every family touched.” Her itinerary includes visits to Yad Vashem, the Dead Sea, the site of the Nova music festival massacre, and the Jabotinsky Institute, which honors the legacy of Ze’ev Jabotinsky, a pillar of Zionist thought and leadership.
“I’ll meet fans, friends, and my IDF heroes from Duvdevan,” she wrote. “I’m ready to connect, to love, to remember, and to celebrate the life and love of this place.”
Banks’s outspoken support for Israel is rare among global celebrities. Her public posts have challenged anti-Israel narratives and voiced solidarity with Israelis still grappling with the trauma of the October 7 massacre, in which over 1,200 people were murdered and 251 hostages abducted by Hamas-led terrorists.
First rising to fame with her viral 2011 hit “212,” Banks has remained a bold and influential figure in music and pop culture, known for her unapologetic style and dedicated fanbase.
Her decision to return to Israel during such a sensitive and symbolic week is being widely praised by supporters who see it as a powerful gesture of unity and a rejection of cultural boycotts that seek to isolate the Jewish state.
