Azerbaijan Foils ISIS-K Terror Plot Against Israeli Embassy

Azerbaijani security forces have thwarted a chilling terror plot targeting the Israeli Embassy in Baku, authorities revealed this week. While in Baku, Sa’ar held high-level meetings with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov. He also visited with leaders of Azerbaijan’s vibrant Jewish community, a historic population that numbers between 16,000 and 30,000.

The security threat highlights the ongoing dangers posed by global jihadist groups targeting Israeli personnel and assets abroad. It also underscores the importance of deep intelligence collaboration between nations willing to stand together against extremism.

Azerbaijan’s swift and effective action sends a strong message: terror will not find a foothold in Baku, and the Israeli-Azerbaijani partnership remains unshaken.
