Boy George Adds Israel Concert for Nova Survivors

The Tel Aviv performance builds on a song and video honoring the Nova community.

Boy George has added a second Israel concert after his November 4 performance sold out, The Jerusalem Post reports. The November 7 evening will be dedicated to Nova music festival survivors and families, placing public support for the community at the center of the performance.

According to The Algemeiner, the concert will take place at Tel Aviv’s Menora Mivtachim Arena under the title “We Will Dance Again.” In a video shared by Live Nation Israel, Boy George said, “Come and join us for a night of beautiful music, harmony, and love.”

The Jerusalem Post reports that the British singer-songwriter released a single with the same title in July. Its official music video featured footage celebrating the lives of young people killed at the festival. The Post describes the concert as an extension of that tribute, intended as an evening of remembrance and healing.

The Post notes that Boy George rose to worldwide fame in the 1980s as Culture Club’s frontman. The Algemeiner reports that he has performed in Israel before, including in 2017, when Dana International joined him for a guest performance.
