IDF Hits Over 200 Terror Targets in Gaza Amid Ongoing Operation

In a decisive show of force, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have carried out more than 200 targeted strikes across the Gaza Strip over the past 48 hours, intensifying Operation “Gideon’s Chariots.” The ongoing military campaign aims to dismantle Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad’s extensive terror infrastructure.

The Israeli Air Force (IAF) has hit a wide range of targets including weapons depots, sniper posts, anti-tank launch sites, tunnel shafts, and operational centers. These strikes spanned both northern and southern Gaza, with a focus on facilities that posed immediate threats to IDF soldiers on the ground.

One key operation targeted a Hamas military structure in southern Gaza that served multiple functions a weapons cache, an observation post, and a command hub. In another critical mission, the IAF neutralized a building from which a Nukhba terrorist, part of Hamas’s elite commando unit, was actively operating.

In a joint effort with the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency), Israeli forces also struck a Hamas and Islamic Jihad command center located in what was formerly the Faami Aljerjawi School in Gaza City. According to the military, key terror operatives were eliminated in the nighttime assault.

Ground operations have also intensified. Soldiers from the elite Givati Brigade have been deployed in northern Gaza under the 162nd Division. Over the past week, these units have successfully neutralized dozens of terrorists and uncovered multiple booby-trapped structures and tunnels, vital components of the terror network in Gaza.

Despite Israel’s proactive defense measures, the threat from Gaza remains present. On Monday morning, three rockets were launched toward Israeli border communities. Two of the projectiles fell within Gaza, while a third was intercepted before it could pose a danger to Israeli civilians.

Israel continues to act with precision and resolve in the face of ongoing threats, committed to securing its southern communities and dismantling terror networks that jeopardize regional peace.
