IDF Seizes Hamas Weapons in Rafah and Eliminates Terrorist Crossing Yellow Line

Israeli forces continue targeted operations in Gaza, seizing weapons intended for attacks on IDF troops and eliminating an imminent terrorist threat along the security perimeter known as the Yellow Line.

On Monday, the IDF announced that troops operating in southern Gaza uncovered a significant Hamas weapons cache belonging to the Rafah brigade. The discovery was made during operational activity near the Yellow Line a critical boundary area central to Israel’s security arrangements.

According to the military, the cache included a large number of firearms, an RPG rocket, and an explosive device. The weapons were reportedly intended for use against IDF soldiers operating in the area.

The IDF emphasized that it will continue working to dismantle terrorist infrastructure and neutralize threats in southern Gaza in accordance with the terms of the current ceasefire framework. Israeli officials have repeatedly stressed that any violations or preparations for renewed attacks will be met with decisive action.

In a separate incident Tuesday morning, troops in northern Gaza identified a suspect who crossed the Yellow Line and posed what the military described as an imminent threat. The Israeli Air Force conducted a precise strike, killing the individual.

The rapid response underscores Israel’s continued vigilance along sensitive zones, even amid broader diplomatic efforts and ceasefire arrangements.

Meanwhile, Palestinian media outlets reported that IDF forces began demolishing a home in the village of Qarawat Bani Hassan, west of Salfit in the West Bank. According to the Palestinian-run WAFA news agency, the structure lacked a valid building permit. The IDF has not yet issued an official statement regarding the demolition.
