IDF Arrests 400 Terrorists from West Bank Cells During Iran War

In a sweeping counter-terror operation, the IDF announced it has arrested 400 terrorists from six active terror cells operating in the West Bank over the past month. The arrests took place during the course of “Operation Rising Lion,” Israel’s recent 12-day war with Iran.

According to a military statement, the terror cells had been actively plotting attacks on Israeli civilians and military personnel. Alongside the detentions, Israeli forces interrogated several hundred additional suspects believed to be linked to the six groups.

The military also confiscated over one million shekels in illicit funds and seized 160 weapons. These included improvised explosive devices (IEDs), machine guns, and large caches of ammunition indicating the extent of the terror infrastructure being developed across the West Bank.

The IDF reported that its forces carried out more than 2,000 offensive operations during the conflict. These raids were coordinated to dismantle terrorist networks operating with the backing or coordination of Iran’s proxy groups, as tensions surged across the region.

This proactive military effort not only neutralized threats aimed at the Israeli heartland, but also sent a clear message that the IDF retains operational control and intelligence superiority across all fronts.
