Halevi Asserts Israel’s Readiness to Act Against Iran Anytime

IDF Chief Halevi issues a firm warning to Iran and its proxies during pilots’ graduation ceremony.

Israel is prepared to strike Iran "at any time and in any place," declared IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Herzi Halevi during the graduation ceremony of the 189th IAF Pilots Course on Wednesday. His statement underscored Israel's unwavering stance amid ongoing threats in the Middle East and its multifront war.

"Let Iran, its proxies, and the entire Middle East know that anyone who attempts to undermine the stability and security of the State of Israel, the IDF, will stand firm against them," Halevi said. Highlighting Israel’s preparedness, he emphasized the country’s reliance on cutting-edge intelligence, advanced aircraft, and the skill of its military personnel.

Halevi lauded the IDF's efforts during recent operations, saluting both rescue teams and troops for their bravery and commitment. Referring to the Hamas attacks of October 7, he stressed the importance of accountability. "The inquiries and examinations must be thorough and truthful," Halevi said, describing the investigations as a duty to the fallen soldiers, their families, and the Israeli public.

In a poignant moment, Halevi tied the IDF's mission to the spirit of Hanukkah, which began that evening. “The Maccabees did not have an air force, but they had their roots and their spirit. From them, we learned courage and strategy,” he said, inspiring the graduating pilots as they received their wings and joined the ranks of Israel’s defenders.

Israel’s readiness to act decisively sends a clear message to adversaries: threats to its security will be met with firm and immediate action. The IDF’s vigilance, supported by advanced technology and a deep commitment to its mission, ensures that the country remains safeguarded against any challenges.
