Israeli and US Strikes Severely Deplete Houthi Missile Arsenal
Coordinated attacks cripple Iranian-backed group’s ability to target Israel.

A series of coordinated Israeli and American airstrikes have significantly diminished the Houthi terrorist group’s missile-launch capabilities, according to Israeli media reports. Military officials believe that the Iranian-backed rebels in Yemen now have only a limited number of operational ballistic missile launchers remaining.
Since the end of the recent ceasefire in Gaza on March 18, the Houthis have launched 11 ballistic missiles at Israel part of a broader campaign to support Hamas. However, Israel’s Channel 12 News reports that a substantial portion of the Houthis’ launch infrastructure has been destroyed in recent joint operations by Israeli and U.S. forces.
The size and complexity of the missiles often weighing up to 1,100 pounds and measuring over 30 feet make them difficult to hide or quickly redeploy. In addition to successful interceptions by Israeli air defenses, some missiles have misfired and landed in Saudi Arabia or Jordan, further exposing the group's operational flaws.
The remaining launch sites are believed to be few and geographically restricted, limiting the Houthis’ ability to mount sustained attacks. Moreover, the group’s domestic missile production remains low, with only a handful manufactured each month, according to intelligence estimates.
This sharp degradation in Houthi capabilities underscores the effectiveness of the joint Israeli-American military campaign, which has not only neutralized immediate threats but also disrupted Iran’s broader strategy of using regional proxies to destabilize Israel and its allies.
As the Houthi threat wanes, Israeli defense officials remain vigilant, aware that even a diminished enemy can pose serious danger. But the recent strikes mark a turning point in the ongoing effort to ensure Israel's security against Iran’s expanding terror network.
