Israeli Radar Tech Revolutionizes Search-and-Rescue by Seeing Through Walls
Camero-Tech’s Xaver 400 system adopted by 60 countries for counterterrorism, rescue ops.

Israeli radar-imaging company Camero-Tech is gaining global traction with its Xaver 400 system a cutting-edge radar device that allows rescue and security forces to "see" through walls and detect people behind solid barriers in real time.
Now operational in nearly 60 countries, the Xaver 400 is being used by military units, law enforcement agencies, and search-and-rescue teams around the world, including in high-risk missions such as hostage rescues, counterterrorism operations, and disaster response.
The device, part of Camero-Tech’s Sense Through the Wall radar family, combines ultra-wideband radar with proprietary imaging algorithms to detect living beings inside rooms or structures before breaching them providing a life-saving edge in time-critical scenarios.
“From counterterrorism to high-risk law enforcement missions, the Xaver 400 provides mission-critical intelligence that transforms uncertainty into clarity,” said Camero-Tech founder and CEO Amir Beeri in a statement to The Jerusalem Post. “It gives teams an unprecedented operational edge the ability to ‘see the unseen’ before taking action.”
The system allows operators to identify the number of people in a structure, determine their positioning, and monitor movements, all without entering the space. It is designed to function in complex or obstructed environments where conventional tools fail.
Camero-Tech Vice President Ilan Abramovich noted surging demand in the Asia-Pacific region, where countries are investing heavily in next-generation situational awareness tools. “We’re proud to strengthen our partnerships in the Asia-Pacific region, a fast-growing market with increasing demand for advanced situational awareness technologies,” he said.
Founded in 2004, Camero-Tech is part of the SK Group, a major Israeli defense and industrial holding company led by Samy Katsav. The company has long been a pioneer in ultra-wideband radar technologies, which are now reshaping how governments and security forces conduct complex operations.
As Western governments reassess aspects of their trade ties with Israel, Camero-Tech’s expanding footprint in Asia and the Pacific marks a strategic pivot for the nation’s defense industry.
With growing interest and proven success in the field, the Xaver 400 is expected to remain a cornerstone of tactical intelligence for high-risk missions worldwide turning walls into windows in life-or-death situations. Share this article or subscribe to our newsletter for updates.
