Montana Tucker to headline Maccabiah 2025 celebrations in Israel

Jewish-American singer, actress, and influencer Montana Tucker will take center stage at the Maccabiah 2025 games in Israel, where she is set to perform at the opening ceremony, emcee the Gala event, and promote the games through her extensive social media platforms.

Tucker, whose social media following exceeds 14 million, is renowned not only for her talent but also for her activism against antisemitism and anti-Israel sentiment. As the granddaughter of Holocaust survivors, she has emerged as a prominent voice advocating for Jewish unity and solidarity, particularly following the events of October 7.

During a recent visit to the World Jewish Sports Museum at Kfar Maccabiah, Tucker learned about the stories of pioneering Jewish athletes and met with members of the Maccabiah Sports Experience basketball team. She also visited the “Unbroken” exhibition, which tells the stories of Jewish resilience, including that of Lior Weizman, a triathlete murdered on October 7, and his surviving friend, cyclist Aya Meydan.

Tucker expressed her excitement about participating in the event, stating, “This is more than a sporting event it’s an opportunity to show the world the unity and resilience of the Jewish people. Through sports, we can fight antisemitism and present Israel for what it is: a beautiful, diverse, and peace-seeking country.”

Tucker’s involvement aligns with her commitment to connecting Jewish communities worldwide. “As the granddaughter of Holocaust survivors, it is important for me to promote Jewish solidarity and unity, demonstrating our resilience as a people in these turbulent times,” she said.

Maccabiah CEO Roy Hessing welcomed Tucker’s participation, saying, “Montana Tucker is a wonderful advocate for Israel and a powerful voice in fighting hatred and bigotry. Having her on board will help connect young and diverse audiences and increase global awareness of Maccabiah and the values it stands for.”

The 2025 Maccabiah games, often referred to as the “Jewish Olympics,” are expected to be larger and more impactful than ever, showcasing not only athletic excellence but also the strength and unity of the global Jewish community.
