Inside Mossad’s Operation to Simultaneously Detonate Thousands of Hezbollah Terrorists’ Pagers
Israel's Spy Agency Orchestrates Explosive Sabotage of Hezbollah’s Communication Devices
In a daring and sophisticated operation, Israel’s Mossad successfully sabotaged thousands of Hezbollah terrorists’ communication devices in Lebanon, according to reports from Sky News in Arabic. The operation involved inserting explosives into the batteries of the devices, which were then remotely detonated, crippling Hezbollah's communication infrastructure.
The Mossad intercepted the devices before they reached Hezbollah operatives, embedding a powerful explosive known as PETN into the batteries. The explosions were triggered by remotely increasing the temperature of the batteries, causing them to detonate simultaneously.
A Lebanese security source told Al Jazeera that each explosive charge embedded in the pagers was small around 20 grams but effective enough to destroy the devices. Hezbollah reportedly received the devices five months ago, unaware of the deadly modifications. Some operatives noticed their devices overheating and discarded them before the explosions occurred.
This operation marks another example of Mossad’s ability to disrupt enemy operations with precision and minimal collateral damage. By sabotaging Hezbollah’s communication capabilities, Mossad has dealt a significant blow to the terrorist group’s operational capacity.
