Prime Minister of Israel Pledges Greater Humanitarian Aid for Gaza
Netanyahu pledges continued humanitarian deliveries while accusing Hamas of looting and manipulation.

Israel will continue coordinating with international organizations, the United States, and European nations to ensure that “large amounts” of humanitarian aid reach civilians in Gaza, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Monday night.
As part of these efforts, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have implemented daily pauses in operations in key populated areas of Gaza from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., along with secure routes for aid convoys from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.
“We already allow significant amounts of humanitarian aid into Gaza every single day, including food, water, and medicine,” Netanyahu said.
The prime minister accused Hamas of deliberately obstructing aid distribution to civilians. “Unfortunately, Hamas, which openly uses civilians as human shields, operates from hospitals and uses schools and kindergartens to store weapons, has been stealing aid from the Gaza population, many times by shooting Palestinians,” he said.
Acknowledging the hardship faced by civilians, Netanyahu insisted that Hamas seeks to manufacture the appearance of a humanitarian crisis. “They have been releasing unverified numbers to the news media while circulating images that are carefully staged or manipulated by Hamas,” he noted.
“We are fighting a just war, a moral war, a war for our survival,” Netanyahu continued. “No country in the world would allow the continued rule in neighboring territory of a terror group bent on its destruction that already stormed across its borders in a genocidal attack, as Hamas did on Oct. 7, 2023 when it butchered over 1,200 innocent people, burned babies alive, and slaughtered teenagers at a music festival.”
“Hamas boasts they will repeat the Oct. 7 massacre over and over,” Netanyahu warned. “We’ll continue to act responsibly, as we always have, and we’ll continue to seek the return of our hostages and the defeat of Hamas. That is the only way to secure peace for Israelis and Palestinians alike.”
IDF Footage of Hamas Looting Aid
On Tuesday, the IDF released new video evidence showing Hamas terrorists violently looting humanitarian aid trucks.
“In recent weeks, the Hamas terrorist organization has spread false claims about a deliberate starvation campaign in Gaza,” the IDF said. “In the footage filmed on July 25, 2025, armed Hamas terrorists are seen violently looting humanitarian aid that had been transferred into the Gaza Strip, preventing it from reaching the civilian population.”
“Even when aid is delivered into Gaza Hamas loots it for its own use, blatantly disregarding the needs of the population,” the military added.
Israel maintains that its dual approach of military pressure against Hamas and humanitarian aid to civilians remains essential for achieving both security and stability in the region.
