Netanyahu Applauds Milei’s ‘Moral Clarity’ as Argentina Stands with Israel
Israeli PM hails Argentine president’s support amid global isolation, invites more Latin nations to join new “Isaac Accords.”

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Saturday publicly thanked Argentine President Javier Milei for his outspoken support of Israel, calling his words “a source of comfort and pride that touched the heart of every Israeli.”
Milei, speaking at Buenos Aires’ Teatro Colón opera house on November 27 during the 90th anniversary celebration of DAIA the umbrella group of Argentina’s Jewish community offered a passionate defense of Israel.
“While the vast majority of the free world decided to turn its back on the Jewish state, we extended a hand to it,” Milei said. “Evil cannot be met with indifference, but must be confronted with a force of equal magnitude, yet in the opposite direction.”
The remarks follow the launch of the Isaac Accords, an initiative to deepen political, economic, and cultural cooperation between Israel and Latin American countries. Modeled on the Abraham Accords, the new framework currently includes Argentina, Uruguay, Panama, and Costa Rica. Milei announced the pact during Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar’s recent visit to Argentina.
Netanyahu hailed Milei’s “moral clarity, vision and courage,” writing on social media that “these are signals of a new era of common sense, mutual interests and values between Israel and Latin America.”
He extended an invitation to other regional leaders “Together, and in tandem with U.S. leadership under President Trump, we will elevate our relations to new heights. I invite all our friends across the continent those who believe in freedom, security and prosperity to join the Isaac Accords!”
Milei has reoriented Argentina’s foreign policy closer to the United States and Israel, ending decades of neutrality or Arab-leaning diplomacy. In June, he accepted the Genesis Prize in Jerusalem, praising Israel’s resilience and spirit.
“I hold deep admiration for Israel its history, its people, and its unwavering spirit,” he said. “I hope this deepens dialogue and cooperation based on shared values like freedom, democracy, and mutual respect.”
The Genesis Prize Foundation, which honors Jewish contributions to humanity, also announced $1 million in seed funding for a nonprofit: American Friends of the Isaac Accords.
As global criticism of Israel grows amid ongoing conflict, Netanyahu’s praise of Milei signals an effort to cultivate new diplomatic alliances rooted in shared ideology, counterterrorism goals, and strategic vision. Share this article or subscribe to our newsletter for updates.
