Netanyahu Endorses Trump for Nobel Peace Prize, Calling It ‘Well Deserved’
In heartfelt letter, Israeli leader hails Trump’s role in reshaping Middle East through Abraham Accords and peace diplomacy.

In a powerful show of appreciation and diplomatic recognition, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has officially nominated U.S. President Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize. The announcement came during a dinner meeting in the White House’s Blue Room, where Netanyahu personally presented Trump with a copy of the nomination letter he sent to the Nobel Committee.
Trump appeared visibly surprised and touched by the gesture, thanking Netanyahu warmly. “Coming from you in particular, this is very meaningful,” he told the Israeli leader.
Netanyahu praised Trump’s consistent efforts to foster peace and stability across regions plagued by decades of conflict. “President Trump is forging peace, as we speak, in one country, in one region after the other,” Netanyahu said. “This is well deserved, and you should get it.”
In his formal letter dated July 1st, Netanyahu commended Trump’s “steadfast and exceptional dedication to promoting peace, security, and stability around the world.” He specifically emphasized the significance of the Abraham Accords historic agreements that normalized ties between Israel and several Arab nations, including the UAE, Bahrain, Sudan, and Morocco.
“These groundbreaking agreements reshaped the Middle East and marked a historic advance towards peace and security,” the letter reads. Netanyahu hailed Trump’s diplomatic vision, saying it replaced extremism with “cooperation, dialogue, and shared prosperity.”
“Few leaders have achieved such tangible breakthroughs to peace in such a short time,” Netanyahu concluded. “I can think of no one more deserving than President Trump of the Nobel Peace Prize.”
This nomination follows a similar move by Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, who also nominated Trump for the prize in late June. Dar credited Trump with defusing escalating tensions between Pakistan and India, preventing what could have become a full-scale war.
Together, these nominations reflect a growing international acknowledgment of Trump’s unorthodox but results-driven diplomacy particularly in the Middle East, where the Abraham Accords continue to generate ripple effects in regional cooperation, trade, and normalization.
Israel’s recognition of this diplomatic legacy is a powerful reminder that peace is possible when leaders act with boldness, vision, and a willingness to challenge the status quo.
