Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu welcomed US Secretary of State Marco Rubio to the Western Wall in Jerusalem on Sunday, marking a symbolic moment of solidarity between Israel and its closest ally.

“The visit of the American Secretary of State is a testament to the strong relationship between the United States and Israel. We greatly appreciate the visit,” Netanyahu said following the ceremony.
