Netanyahu Presents Trump with B-2 Shaped Mezuzah Crafted from Iranian Missile Shrapnel
Symbolic gesture underscores shared defense goals and Israel’s gratitude for American military support.

In a moment rich with symbolism and strategy, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu presented U.S. President Donald Trump with a one-of-a-kind gift during his visit to the White House a mezuzah shaped like a U.S. B-2 stealth bomber, crafted from the shrapnel of an Iranian missile.
The design was far from arbitrary. The B-2 bomber model pays tribute to the very aircraft reportedly used in the U.S. strike on Iran’s Fordow nuclear facility just weeks earlier. That June 22 operation, led by American forces, targeted Iran’s most fortified nuclear sites including Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan with B-2s, Tomahawk missiles, and GBU-57 bunker-buster bombs.
Forged from the wreckage of an enemy missile and molded into a symbol of Jewish tradition and divine protection, the mezuzah sent a clear message: Israel and the United States are united not only by shared values, but by shared resolve against existential threats.
The gesture came ahead of high-stakes talks in Washington, where Trump is working to broker a ceasefire with Hamas that includes the return of Israeli hostages held in Gaza. As diplomatic efforts intensify, Netanyahu remains adamant that any agreement must not leave Hamas in power.
At a press conference, Netanyahu was asked whether he supported Israel acquiring actual B-2 bombers and advanced munitions. He didn’t mince words. “We are appreciative of what assistance we’ve received, and I think it’s served not only the interest of Israel’s security but America’s security and the security of the free world.”
The Israeli premier had departed for Washington amid national mourning, after five IDF soldiers were killed in combat. "Unfortunately, this effort has exacted a painful price from us the loss of the best of our sons," he said. “But we are determined to achieve all of our objectives.”
While the mezuzah was gifted privately, images of the symbolic item quickly spread online evoking both reverence and admiration. It was more than a ceremonial gift. It was a statement: a prayer for protection and a reminder of the military strength needed to secure it.
As Israel continues to face unprecedented threats from its enemies, the alliance with the United States embodied in gestures like this grows ever more vital. The mezuzah’s message was unmistakable: blessing and bravery, faith and firepower.
