NVIDIA Expands in Israel with New 10,000 Sq. Meter AI Data Center

The tech giant's facility will drive next-generation AI and data center innovation.

NVIDIA announced on Wednesday that it is significantly expanding its research and development operations in Israel with the launch of a 10,000 square meter AI data center. The state-of-the-art facility will be one of the most advanced in the country and is set to begin operations in the first half of 2025.

The center will serve as a hub for next-generation data center technologies, supporting developments in networking hardware, CPU design, AI software, and more. Powered by NVIDIA’s latest Blackwell and Grace Blackwell Superchip-based systems, alongside cutting-edge networking solutions like BlueField-3 SuperNIC, Spectrum-X800, and Quantum-X800 switches, the facility will provide a massive boost to AI innovation in Israel.

Amit King, Senior Vice President of Software Engineering and NVIDIA Israel Site Leader, emphasized the strategic importance of the new facility.

"The new research and engineering data center facility will empower NVIDIA Israel’s existing teams and many new hires to continue developing technologies that drive AI, the most important technological force of our time," King stated.

He also reiterated NVIDIA’s commitment to its workforce, calling employees the company’s “most valuable asset” and pledging continued investment in local talent.

NVIDIA has long recognized Israel as a critical hub for AI, high-performance computing, and chip design. This latest expansion cements the country’s status as a key global player in AI and semiconductor innovation.

As Israel continues to attract major investments from leading tech giants, this project further strengthens its position at the forefront of AI-driven breakthroughs.
