Charlie Kirk to Be Honored With Official Commemoration in Samaria
Council head Yossi Dagan hails Kirk as a devoted friend of Israel and champion of Judea and Samaria.

The Samaria Regional Council announced Sunday that it will establish an official commemoration for Charlie Kirk, the conservative author and media figure murdered at a student conference at the University of Utah last week.
Council head Yossi Dagan said the initiative will be organized in cooperation with Kirk’s associates and the Friends of Judea and Samaria in the United States, with details on the location and date to be released in the coming weeks.
Dagan described Kirk as a “great lover of the State of Israel” who had been scheduled to participate in an upcoming joint event with the council. Calling his murder “a terrible tragedy and a profound loss,” Dagan noted Kirk’s dedication to supporting Jewish settlement in Judea and Samaria and his efforts to instill values in young people.
“Charlie Kirk stood firmly against those who use the language of liberalism to undermine freedom,” Dagan said. “His voice was clear, strong, and unwavering. He would have undoubtedly blessed the application of full sovereignty over Judea and Samaria and worked tirelessly to advance support for it.”
Kirk, a prominent advocate of Israeli sovereignty over the West Bank, often rejected the idea of a Palestinian state. In one of his public debates, he emphasized that Christians have “a special duty” to respect Jews and referred to Judea and Samaria as “the legal homeland of the Jewish people.”
Dagan stressed that Kirk’s absence will be deeply felt in Israel, the United States, and throughout the free world. “His legacy is not just about what he achieved, but about the values he defended the values of faith, freedom, and the eternal connection of the Jewish people to their land.”
The Samaria Regional Council pledged that Kirk’s steadfast commitment to Israel would be permanently honored in a commemoration that reflects his unwavering support for the settlement project.
By creating this memorial, Samaria ensures that Charlie Kirk’s voice and friendship will continue to echo in the land he so passionately defended. Share this article or subscribe to our newsletter for more updates from Judea and Samaria.
