800 Packages of Narcotics Seized by Israel Police in Tel Aviv
Authorities seize hundreds of illegal packages including prescription drugs and hard narcotics in major bust.

In a major crackdown on drug trafficking, Israel Police announced the seizure of approximately 800 packages of illegal drugs and prescription medications from a warehouse in Tel Aviv on Wednesday. The operation, led by officers from the Jaffa Police Station in coordination with Border Police and Ayalon detectives, is part of a broader campaign to dismantle illegal drug networks across the country.
Inside the warehouse, police uncovered a wide array of substances, including prescription stimulants, powerful painkillers, and unsupervised medications. More alarmingly, suspected quantities of cocaine, ecstasy, and crystal meth were also found drugs known for their high addiction potential and connection to organized crime.
Two suspects, a Tel Aviv couple in their 40s, were arrested at the scene and are currently being interrogated at the Jaffa Police Station.
In an official statement, Israel Police stressed the grave health dangers posed by consuming unsupervised medications and narcotics. “The use of these substances without medical oversight can cause severe and irreversible health damage,” authorities warned.
This bust highlights the increasing sophistication of drug trafficking operations, which often blur the line between illegal street drugs and misused pharmaceuticals. By taking swift and coordinated action, Israeli law enforcement continues to demonstrate its commitment to public safety and the rule of law.
