Todd Patkin Donates $5 Million to World Zionist Village in Be’er Sheva
Bestselling author and philanthropist fuels global Zionist hub with vision for education, unity, and the future of Israel.

Bestselling author and philanthropist Todd Patkin has made a landmark $5 million investment in the upcoming World Zionist Village, a transformative 16-acre campus in Be’er Sheva designed to be the global epicenter for Zionist education, leadership, and community-building.
The Village, a $350 million initiative spearheaded by Jewish National Fund-USA, will offer a dynamic home for young Zionists from around the world featuring cutting-edge programming and a vibrant communal environment in the heart of Israel’s South. Patkin’s generous contribution will significantly expand its reach and mission.
“I have always believed that happiness and hope are deeply interconnected,” said Patkin, whose bestselling book Finding Happiness has inspired thousands to live with greater purpose and joy. “The World Zionist Village represents an extraordinary opportunity to bring people together in celebration of our shared heritage, working together toward a future filled with promise for Zionism and the Jewish people.”
In recognition of his support, the Village’s main entrance will feature the “Patkin Pathway,” symbolizing his commitment to welcoming global Jewry into a new era of Zionist revitalization.
Todd Patkin, a Massachusetts native and Tufts University graduate, shifted from a successful business career to focus on philanthropy, community, and emotional wellness. His gift reflects a deep-rooted dedication to Jewish values and the future of Israel.
Jewish National Fund-USA CEO Russell F. Robinson praised Patkin’s role “He’s not just a supporter he’s a catalyst for change. Todd understands our vision and plays a vital role in bringing it to life. The Patkin Pathway will stand as a gateway to the world.”
During a recent site visit, Patkin met with Robinson, Village CEO Ira Green, International Development Director Boaz Meir, and Be’er Sheva Mayor Ruvik Danilovich. Reviewing the architectural master plan by HQ Architects, the team envisioned how the Village will reshape Israel’s South and attract young leaders from around the world.
Mayor Danilovich celebrated the initiative, stating, “This village will transform how people perceive Be’er Sheva. The village carries a vital mission: to attract young people from across the globe to this historic city. A strong Negev means a strong Israel.”
The World Zionist Village represents more than just a place it’s a living embodiment of unity, purpose, and the unbreakable bond between Israel and Jewish communities worldwide. Thanks to Patkin’s vision, the dream of a global Zionist center is coming to life.
