Trump Issues Ultimatum Hostages Must Be Released by Saturday or Else

Former president urges Israel to cancel ceasefire if all captives are not freed by Saturday.

Former U.S. President Donald Trump has called on Israel to cancel its ceasefire with Hamas if the terror group does not release all remaining hostages by noon on Saturday. Speaking to reporters in the Oval Office, Trump warned that if Hamas fails to comply, Israel should take decisive military action.

“If all the Gaza hostages aren’t returned by Saturday at 12 p.m., I would say cancel the ceasefire,” Trump stated. “Let all hell break out. Israel can override it.”

Trump insisted that Hamas must release every hostage, rejecting the current agreement under which hostages are freed in small groups. “Not in dribs and drabs, not two and one and three and four and two,” he said. “Saturday at 12 o’clock, and after that, I would say, all hell is going to break out.”

His remarks come after Hamas announced it was suspending the release of hostages scheduled for February 15, accusing Israel of violating the ceasefire terms. The terror group claimed that Israel had delayed the return of Gazans to northern Gaza and restricted humanitarian aid.

In response, The Hostages and Missing Families Forum urged mediators to ensure the deal remains intact, warning that those still in captivity are in dire conditions.

Trump’s warning follows his reaction to the release of three Israeli hostages on Saturday, whose fragile state sparked outrage. “I watched the hostages return today, and they looked like Holocaust survivors,” Trump said. “They were in horrible condition, emaciated.”

With tensions rising and 76 hostages still held by Hamas, Trump’s call for stronger Israeli action adds pressure to an already fragile ceasefire. The coming days will be critical in determining whether negotiations continue or military operations escalate.
