Donald Trump Pays Respects at Lubavitcher Rebbe’s Grave
Former President expresses solidarity with Jewish people on anniversary of Hamas massacre.
On Monday, former President Donald Trump visited the grave of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Menachem Mendel Schneerson, in New York, also known as the Ohel. Trump’s visit coincided with the first anniversary of the October 7 Hamas massacre in Israel, during which he prayed and expressed his solidarity with the Jewish community.
The Lubavitcher Rebbe, a revered leader of the worldwide Chabad-Lubavitch movement, was known for his outreach efforts and had met with numerous political figures, including non-Jewish leaders, during his lifetime. Schneerson's grave has become a pilgrimage site for Jews and non-Jews alike, seeking blessings and guidance.
Trump’s visit to the Ohel underscores his long-standing connection with the Jewish community and his continued support for Israel as the conflict in Gaza persists.
