Evyatar Yeshivah Receives $130K Donation from U.S. Friends of Samaria
Supporters strengthen the growing Jewish community in Samaria.

A fundraising effort by Samaria Regional Council head Yossi Dagan during his visit to the United States has secured $130,000 for the yeshivah in the Jewish community of Evyatar.
“I thank the friends of Samaria in the United States for their strategic partnership and belief in the righteousness of the path,” Dagan stated, expressing gratitude to those who contributed to strengthening Jewish life in the region.
Evyatar, located south of Shechem (Nablus), was founded in 2013 in response to the murder of Evyatar Borovsky by a Palestinian terrorist. The community has faced multiple demolitions but was reestablished following a 2023 terrorist attack near Eli. Last year, it received formal recognition under Israeli law as part of an agreement led by Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich.
The Avinoam Yeshivah in Evyatar has grown to over 200 students across various programs. During the ongoing Swords of Iron war, the yeshivah tragically lost three students: IDF Staff Sgt. Maoz Morell, 22, Sgt. Ori Nisanovich, 21, and St. Sgt. Gilad Nehemya Nitzan, 21.
Dagan described Evyatar as more than just a place it is a statement of Jewish resilience and connection to the Land of Israel. “Every donation and involvement helps us ensure the future of settlement and make Evyatar a reality,” he said.
“There will be many more Evyatars, there will be many more new towns,” he declared. “Israel is ours; we are here to stay.”
Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria continue to grow, ensuring a strong future for Israel. Share this article or subscribe to our newsletter for updates to support their mission.
